TBG & Johns Hopkins Institute for Policy Studies
TBG (The Berndt Group), developed a fresh and professional new face for The Johns Hopkins University Institute for Policy Studies Master of Arts in Public Policy (IPS MPP) website. The IPS MPP site needed to meet a variety of criteria, including a dynamic homepage that grabbed a user's attention while offering clear usability. IPS MPP also wanted the ability to feature changing content on the homepage.
Because the site needed to reach a variety of audiences, including current and prospective students, alumni, and faculty, the primary navigation is segmented by audience. The site design focused on high impact photography to showcase the range of diverse audiences and populations associated with the IPS MPP program.
The overall brand of the IPS MPP site needed to be distinctive and unique, but at the same time fit into the larger Johns Hopkins University brand aesthetic.
All in all, the site accomplished the client's goals: eye catching design, clear organization of content, high usability for all audiences, and a website that served as both a marketing piece and an information tool.
