TBG CEO to Speak at Sitecore Symposium on Creating a Sustainable Personalization Practice

TBG (The Berndt Group), www.berndtgroup.net, a national digital agency and Sitecore Gold partner headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, announced that its CEO, John Berndt, a Sitecore Digital Strategist "MVP," has been selected for the third year in a row to speak at Sitecore Symposium on the subject of personalization. This year, John will speak about creating a sustainable personalization practice. In his talk “Sustainable Sitecore Personalization: Don’t Build your Castle on a Sinkhole,” John will share practitioner tips about the expectations, technology, operations, staffing, content, and testing layers that need to be aligned in order for an organization to establish and sustain a successful personalization practice.
During last year’s Symposium, John presented a standing room only talk entitled “The Personalization Boondoggle: How to Avoid the Challenges of Long Interaction Cycles, Multi-Device Profiling, Creepiness & Collisions”. John Berndt is the author of the book Personalization Mechanics: Targeted Content for Web Teams of All Sizes (2015), the first truly detailed book about the intersection of Web personalization and Web operations, available on Amazon. He is also a founding member of the Consortium of Personalization Professionals (CPP), a unique group of expert practitioners and thought leaders focused on moving the state of practice forward.
