TBG Launches Responsive Website for Children's National Health System
Website Project Builds on TBG’s Decades of Work in the Healthcare Space
TBG (The Berndt Group), a prominent national digital agency located in Baltimore, MD, is proud to announce the launch of Children’s National Health System’s new responsive website, childrensnational.org, making it one of the most sophisticated children’s hospital sites in North America. This website project builds upon TBG’s nearly two decades of work in the healthcare space.
As the only health system focused exclusively on pediatrics in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Children’s National Health System has been serving the nation’s children for more than 140 years. The health system is consistently ranked among the best pediatric hospitals in America by U.S. News & World Report.
Continuing on its mission to improve the lives of children and their families, Children’s National sought to develop a website that improved patient experience, improved physician satisfaction, and aligned with the health system’s updated branding. Children’s National selected TBG through a rigorous RFP process. Working together with TBG, the new responsive site was developed using Sitecore CMS to achieve these goals.
TBG developed Web strategy recommendations based on creative analysis and best practices research, in addition to a series of interviews with top stakeholders within Children’s National. This process enabled TBG to develop a new Web strategy, design, and user-driven, higher usability architecture for the site that resonates for all users, especially patients and their families.
Moving Children’s National to Sitecore enables the Web team to manage their content with ease, giving them full control of their website at a whole new level. Most importantly, the design of the site evokes the sense of care and comfort that is at the heart of the Children’s brand.
