TBG Wins Gold Baltimore ADDY Award for Maryland Science Center Website
TBG (The Berndt Group), a Baltimore, Maryland-based full service interactive agency, announced that it has received a Gold Baltimore ADDY award in the category of Advertising for the Arts & Sciences, Interactive, for their work on the Maryland Science Center website, www.mdsci.org. Organized by the Advertising Association of Baltimore, the ADDY Awards highlight the best creative work being produced in Baltimore.
The Baltimore ADDY Awards is the first step towards winning a prize at the world’s largest advertising competition, the ADDY Awards, organized by the American Advertising Federation. TBG was recognized alongside top Baltimore agencies like Carton Donofrio Partners, Eisner Communications, and no|inc.
“It’s pretty thrilling to be recognized as one of Baltimore’s best in terms of creative talent – I’m excited to see how we match up in the regional competition and would love to see us go all the way to the national awards,” said John Berndt, President and CEO of The Berndt Group.
The Maryland Science Center website was developed to capture the interactive experience of a Science Center visit. Features include a Flash-driven “magnifying glass” that gives site visitors a fun way to interact with the site’s homepage, a homework helper that generates study questions and links to external resources, trip planners, online ticketing, and email newsletter signup.
This is the first time that TBG has been recognized by the Baltimore ADDY Awards. TBG will compete in the District Two ADDY competition against agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region.
