Web Content Editors / Integrators (Freelance)


TBG is looking for individuals to work as freelancers integrating content into ongoing web projects via a content management system. The candidate must be meticulous, reliable, hardworking, able to multi-task, and have strong problem- solving skills and a high level of maturity. Successful candidates must work respectfully with TBG staff and clients (as applicable), and manage their time efficiently.

Ideal candidates will exhibit the following experience/skills:

  • Experience with web content management systems (such as Sitecore, Umbraco, and WordPress)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with basic web development (HTML a plus)
  • Extreme attention to details and thoroughness in all tasks
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English language and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to convey professionalism and engagement in all written, verbal and in-person meetings with TBG staff and/or clients as applicable
  • High level of responsiveness in all communications
  • Reliability, availability and ability to meet all assigned and agreed to deadlines; preference for candidates with uninterrupted periods of time during busy launch phases on projects (more hours available than less is preferred)
  • Previous experience using issue tracking software preferred (JIRA)

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take content from Microsoft documents, web pages, and existing content management systems and process that information / make stylistic content decisions in order to integrate the information into new web pages/content management systems.
  • Testing web sites on multiple devices and browsers.
  • Quickly get up to speed on details of projects.
  • Report bugs and defects in a clear and organized manner using our bug tracking system.
  • Thorough QA of one’s work / delivering high quality work with minimal mistakes or issues.
  • Provide necessary status reports to Project Managers.
  • Have a minimum of 15-20 hours/week available for content integration when committing to a project; some projects may require more availability (to be worked out with TBG per project).
  • As a freelance resource, must have own workstation setup and software (TBG will provide access to the content management system for content integration/editing).

Work may be done remotely, but candidates should be available to attend online training sessions or project meetings during business hours if applicable to a project, as needed. When applying for the job, candidates should submit a copy of their resume.
