&description=A Chorus of Colors

The Berndt Group designed the exhibits section of the National Aquarium in Baltimore's (NAIB) web site for "Frogs: A Chorus of Colors," a new interactive exhibit at the Aquarium. The Frogs exhibit section features high impact Flash and audio on the exhibit's Index page. Visitors can turn the audio on or off, and create their own Frogs "chorus of sound" by turning on one or more frogs at the same time, in keeping with the exhibit theme. Eight frogs chirp, croak, and yelp as users create unique rhythms and tones.

We also designed the Flash header on the subpages, as well as the subpage design itself. The exhibit section features detail pages about different frogs' species, e-postcards, and frog audio clip 'music' downloads.

Previous projects include designing the "Animal Planet Australia: Wild Extremes" exhibit section of the site, which features Flash for dramatic impact. The Berndt Group has worked with the Aquarium on many projects, including the previous web site design which won multiple awards for design and usability, including a Webby Award ("The Oscars of the Web").

Speaking of the Webby Awards, The Berndt Group earned its third Webby Award for work on this Frogs microsite for the Aquarium.
